More than 500 transport professionals attended the “Coach, Bus, Midibus, Microbus and Ecological Bus of the Year” awards ceremony.

On January 24, the 2024 National Transport Awards gala was held in Madrid, organized by the magazines Viajeros and Transporte 3 (Grupo Editec). These awards, given by a prominent group of professionals in the sector and operators of the main freight and passenger transport companies from all the autonomous communities of Spain, reward the best industrial vehicles of the year.
The jury made up of 817 members, all road transport professionals, evaluated 68 candidates.
In the passenger transport categories, 39 candidates were evaluated (5 coaches, 11 buses, 17 ecological buses, 2 midibuses and 4 minibuses), with the following vehicles winning:
“Coach of the Year 2024 in Spain”: Irizar i6S Efficient Hydrogen
“Bus of the Year 2024 in Spain”: Mercedes-Benz eCitaro FuelCell
“Green Bus of the Year 2024 in Spain”: Mercedes-Benz eCitaro FuelCell
“Midibus of the Year 2024 in Spain”: Otokar Navigo T 8.4
“Microbus of the Year 2024 in Spain”: Car-Bus.net eShuttle
